My mom set up an appointment with Jill after I had surgery. I am a competitive swimmer and I know
how to eat like an athelte, but didn't know how to control the eating for not being active at all. I
never had to worry about what I ate because I knew I would burn it off with an intense workout. Jill taught me how to eat, what to eat and when to eat. I gained some unwanted weight after surgery so she figured out a plan for me and I have lost the excess weight and I am swimming
again. The plan worked almost immediately and in one week I had lost almost 7 pounds! She has taught me about moderation and how to find the healthier choices on menus and around the house. After trying and failing on several of the better known “diet plans”, I finally asked my physician what I could do to lose weight and keep it off. He recommended that I contact Jill at Certified Nutrition of Omaha. He stated that no diet really works; only a change in habits and lifestyle would enable me to successfully loose weight and keep it off.
Jill came to my home and conducted an initial counseling session and gave me several options for her professional services. Through her analysis and counseling, I have learned a great deal about nutrition and the why, what, and how I was eating. Her suggestions have been logical and easy to follow. I could not be more pleased with my progress. I am half way to my weight loss goal and have never been hungry and feel a great deal better. In fact, at my last visit with my physician, he may take me off some prescription medication. This would more than offset the fees for Certified Nutrition service.
